Main Contractor - Exterior Joinery and Ceiling Tile Replacement - Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Hoani Waititi

This is an invitation for Registrations of Interest from main building contractors for works involving the replacement of damaged exterior joinery and the replacement of ceiling tiles in two classroom blocks.

The project’s primary scope is the removal and like for like replacement of broken or end of life exterior joinery units to restore weather tightness, security and functionality. Works include associated making good, sealing and integration with the existing building envelope.

The secondary scope involves the replacement of identified ceiling tiles in two classroom blocks where tiles are damaged or stained. This includes removal of existing tiles, installation of new tiles compatible with the current grid system and disposal of all waste materials.

Contractors will be required to manage site access, health and safety, and coordination of all trades to complete the works with minimal disruption to the school’s operations.
