Main Contractor for Foods and Textiles rooms refurbishment at Upper Hutt College

The school’s tech block was partially destroyed by fire in 2019. This has led to the temporary relocation several subjects including Cooking and Textiles. This tender is to address this in a more permanent way, by way of:
• Upgrades to the current Textiles teaching space to remove an internal wall and create storage and office spaces at one end.
• Refurbishment of a section of the tech block that has not been used since the fire. This refurbished space will house the cooking room and adjacent storage area, and will involve construction of a small extension towards the south.
• Make good of section of external hard surfaces – extent to be further advised
