Main Contractor for Reroofing at Korokoro School (Wellington)

The Board at Korokoro School are seeking the services of a main contractor to undertake the construction of alterations and upgrades to Blocks A, B, M, CR as described in the tender documents prepared by Ruruku. This involves the following works:

• Isolate work areas and operate under SSSP
• Remove metal roofing and underlay as per scoping docs
• Supply and install new metal roofing on vented battens Roofing
• Replace associated flashings, spouting and downpipes
• Appropriate use of all associated edge protection, scaffolding and H&S requirements
• Timeframes are targeted for:
• Start date: July 2026
• Due Date for Completion: August 2026
• The program is negotiable with a preferred supplier if their price is right.
• The project will be a complete turnkey project where the completed section of the building ready for school use will be handed over on completion.
• Project consultants are:
o Project Manager: Jay Patel (Ruruku)
• The Contractor will be engaged through an MOE Medium Works contract


IMPORTANT
• The school will need to continue to operate while construction is ongoing.
