Main Contractor for Roofing, Asbestos Removal, Recladding and Ceiling Repair at Huntly College

Huntly College intends to proceed with roofing replacements and repairs in line with the MoE’s Roofing Observers Report. In addition, areas of asbestos cladding displaying bubbling paint have been identified across the site, and design work is currently underway for recladding these affected elevations. Building consent will be secured prior to the commencement of any contract works.
The project also includes the replacement of the existing gym ceiling, with the current ceiling to be removed and replaced with a plywood ceiling—further specifications will be detailed in the RFT.
An asbestos survey will be conducted, all asbestos cladding removal will be required to be removed by a licensed asbestos removal contractor
