Main Contractor for Spotswood College O: Weathertightness Remediation

The School Board seeks a Main Contractor to undertake weather tightness remediation works as identified in the 10YPP.

The project mainly involves:
- Existing end of life membrane roof over the reception and offices being removed, re-pitched with trusses and installing new metal roofing
- Relocation of existing services inside roof cavity and wall framing
- Replacement of hall cladding and joinery
- Modifications to the pop-up including new cladding, joinery and metal roofing
- Asbestos removal
- Hall bracing
- New hall eastern canopy and entrance including new ramps, stairs and site works
- Other associated works

Contractors are encouraged to put forward a programme that offers the least impact to the school possible. The area of work is O block which houses the admin/reception/pastoral care and core school staff as well as the Hall.
The school is able to decant from O block for a period of time to allow for works to occur.
