Main Contractor for the Wellington High Court Seismic Remediation project

The Ministry of Justice would like to inform you of a future procurement opportunity for the following.
- Main Contractor for the Wellington High Court Seismic Remediation project
The successful Main Contractor will need to be able to have the capability and capacity to deliver against the Ministry’s requirements, including the ability to match work schedules with Court operations.

The two anticipated packages of work are:
- Package 1 – Design work required to take the existing concept design through to working drawings, including Building Consents.
- Package 2 – Seismic remediation focused around the installation of approx. 776 single brackets, 512 double brackets, 29 tie beams and modification of 35 external panels. Work is expected to include deconstruction, and remediation activities including those services affected by the seismic work.

The Ministry expects to release further information regarding this project in March/April 2023.
