Main Fencing/Building Contractor for LSM Fencing & Gates at Hiwinui School

The Board of Trustees for Hiwinui School, are seeking a suitably qualified Main Fencing/Building Contractor to carry out the LSM Fencing & Gates Project.

The Contract Works required are: The proposal is to remove existing fencing and vegetation and installing new 1800mm high powder-coated aluminium boundary fencing and associated pedestrian, vehicle, and accessible gates. Also includes Timber Fencing to part of the private driveway and Melford Lane Boundary. Works include construction of concrete retaining walls and mowing strips where required, along with subsoil drainage on the school side and open swales on road or driveway boundaries for stormwater management. Additional works include minor landscaping, reinstatement, a secure bore enclosure, and new raised garden beds, with the aim of improving site security, accessibility, and drainage.

Contractors MUST visit site for tender to be compliant. Contact School Office to arrange a site visit. Refer to invite letter attached.

Ideally dependent on MoE funding approval this work would start as soon as possible after confirmation provided, however this will be discussed with the successful contractor and school once funding approvals are confirmed.
