TVNZ is approaching the market through this Expression of Interest (EOI) to procure the services of a Master Systems Integrator (MSI). This is the first step in a two-step procurement. The MSI will work with TVNZ to help deliver TVNZ’s strategic Internet Protocol (IP) Platform technology programme. The MSI will work on some or all aspects of the Design, Deliver, Test and Operate phases of the programme.
The IP Platform programme is a multi-workstream, multi-year programme of work that seeks to re-platform TVNZ's heavily broadcast based technology to better meet the reality and expectations of modern audiences and, in doing so, create a sustainable and efficient digital first content business model. The programme involves both the introduction of new technologies and the retention and further development of existing technologies currently operated by TVNZ.
The scope of the programme is the end to end management of video and data content, from receipt to viewer delivery. Enterprise management technologies (e.g. ERP systems) are outside of the programme's scope.
As well as supporting improved audience experiences, the programme will transform TVNZ's digital capabilities and support new ways of working, offering simplicity, scale, efficiency and increased productivity.
TVNZ has not attached the Expression of Interest(EOI) documentation to this listing. In order to receive the EOI documents, please complete the steps below. These steps have been put in place because TVNZ needs assurances around confidentiality of information and does not wish to publicly release commercially sensitive information that is contained within the Expression of Interest documentation.
1. Subscribe/Register to this EOI opportunity and download the attached Confidentiality Agreement.
2. Please complete and sign the Confidentiality Agreement and send this to the Point of Contact (PlatformProcurement@tvnz.co.nz)
3. Upon receipt of your completed and signed Confidentiality Agreement, if all is in order, we will counter-sign the document and send this back to you along with the Expression of Interest documentation
