Media Services Agency for Back Bus Advertising

Waikato Regional Council (WRC) is seeking a Media Services Agency (MSA) to sell advertising space on buses. The MSA will manage the entire process, including selling, producing, installing, and removing advertising on the buses, with the goal of maximising revenues from the bus fleet. Responsibilities include collecting and distributing revenues, and providing transparent reporting about revenue and performance. The focus of this RFP is advertising on the back of buses. This is an exciting opportunity for a reputable and established MSA to expand the assets available for their client base.

WRC is the public transport provider for Waikato region. In addition to bus services, we also provide the Te Huia passenger rail, Flex on-demand transport and Total Mobility services. BUSIT is the brand name we use for bus services. The bus network covers the entire region with 19 bus routes in Hamilton city and 20 bus routes across the region. The current bus fleet has over 100 vehicles including 6 single desk electric buses and 2 double-decker electric buses.
