Police are seeking to identify an established supplier with an existing NZ presence able to provide medical advice and travel related medical services for New Zealand Police staff travelling and deploying internationally.
The selected supplier will be expected to work collaboratively with Police to ensure their 24/7, 365 days service:
- delivers comprehensive and appropriate medical screening and inoculations to Police staff deploying.
- provides medical kits and summary reports for each person
- delivers pre-deployment health briefings and pre-deployment training for Police staff deploying
- tests and clears Police staff returning post deployment including initiation of follow up medical attention as required
- ensures their comprehensive medical coverage and advice to Police meets its obligations to Health and Safety Employment Acts
