Mungavin Courts Lighting Renewal

Mungavin Park is a popular outdoor hard-court facility in Porirua, primarily used by the Kapi-Mana Netball club for training, junior and senior competition.

Our latest lighting condition assessment report and structural condition report has identified that the gear control boxes and ground level pole fixing elements are no longer fit for purpose and require replacement.

While the existing metal halide luminaires at Mungavin Park are appropriate for training and low-level competition, the uniformity of the lighting across all four lower courts is poor.

We are taking this opportunity to replace all poles and lights on new foundations with LED luminaires that meet the latest standard for outdoor netball mid-level local and regional competitions, and high-level training.
