NZDF Bulk Fuel Facilities Maintenance Services - Auckland Region (Whenuapai Air Base and Devonport Naval Base)

NZDF is planning to go to market in mid-late May for specialist bulk fuel facilities maintenance services at RNZAF Base Auckland (Whenuapai) and Devonport Naval Base in the Auckland region. This will be a single stage Request for Tender activity, seeking responses from suitably qualified and accredited fuel facility maintenance suppliers that can provide both routine (scheduled) and reactive (unscheduled) maintenance services at both sites. The fuel facilities at Whenuapai and Devonport both service critical air and naval platforms for the NZDF, and it is critical that the supplier is able to provide high quality and reliable services to support our operations in the Auckland region. Due to the specialist nature of these services, tenderers will need to demonstrate very high technical as well as health and safety expertise.

The successful tenderer will be engaged under an NZDF Fuel Facility Maintenance Services contract, a draft of which will be included with the tender documentation. The initial term for this contract will be three years, followed by two rights of renewal of two years for a total maximum contract length of seven years. The anticipated start date for services will be 01 September 2026.

The tender will be notified on GETS, but all tender information and responses will be managed through the SmartProcure portal.

This opportunity is for Whenuapai and Devonport only - it does not include any other NZDF sites.
