NZTA Supplier Directory (Physical Works) - Request for Submission

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) advises that the procurement opportunity for the establishment of NZTA’s Supplier Directory (Physical Works) is now live.

This procurement is being delivered through a Request for Submission (RFS) and focusses on the NZTA Physical Works Prequalification for Supplier Directory. Through this, NZTA is seeking the following from suppliers:

• Confirmation that current Contractor Prequalification information is up to date and accurate
• The opportunity for suppliers to submit updated information where existing Contractor Prequalification information details are outdated
• The opportunity for suppliers who are not currently prequalified through Contractor Prequalification with NZTA to submit an application to this opportunity, Physical Works Prequalification for Supplier Directory.

This is an open, primary procurement process to establish the NZTA Supplier Directory for Physical Works suppliers. The Directory will operate as a national panel (with regional capability included) that NZTA may use for future secondary procurement processes relating in this release to physical works.

Only suppliers that are successfully listed on the Directory, through the execution of a Directory Agreement with NZTA are eligible to participate in future secondary procurement opportunities sourced from the Directory.
All procurement documents and instructions are available via GETS.

Two supplier briefings are scheduled as follows:

1. Wednesday, 25 March 2026 at 9am (online)
2. Wednesday, 01 April 2026 at 9am (online)
