MPI requires research that contributes to maintaining the shared blue cod fishery in the Marlborough Sounds, which is highly significant to tangata whenua and recreational fishers. The primary objective of this project is to identify spawning recovery areas for blue cod in the Marlborough Sounds that can be prioritised for spatial management.
