REQUEST FOR TENDER - P2025-337 Public Toilet Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems Service & Maintenance Contract 2025-2030

Tenders are requested for the above contract which involves the Service and Maintenance of the Hastings District Council’s onsite wastewater treatment systems to ensure Council meets the Hawkes Bay Reginal Council Resource Consent Requirements

Tender documents are available from the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS) www.gets.govt.nz. Any enquiries about this contract must be made via www.gets.govt.nz.


Respondents who are unable to meet all the following pre-conditions should conclude that they will not benefit from submitting Response.

1. SiteWise Green or Higher - respondent must be able to provide evidence
2. The Contractor must be able to provide evidence of insurance to the following values:
a. Contractor arranged Plant Insurance - The contractor shall insure each item of plant on the site having a current market value of more than $50,000
b. Contractor arranged Public Liability Insurance - $2,000,000 (such public liability insurance may include sub limits: For liability under the Fire and Emergency New Zealand Act 2017, of not less than $500,000) and
c. Motor Vehicle Third Party Liability Insurance - $2,000,000.

Note: Proof of insurance will be requested from the Successful Contractor at the time of Award of the contract

3. Provide an example of an SOP or SSSP for maintaining a waste water treatment system.

Tenders close at 3pm Wednesday 11 June 2025 and must be submitted electronically via GETS.
Please ensure you upload documents well before this deadline as GETS will shut off the tender at 3pm whether uploaded or not.

The TOTAL submitted file size must not exceed 50MB, regardless of the number of files submitted - (all non price information should be included in one file)
Price and non-price files should be uploaded as separate files on GETS in the appropriate section and clearly marked as File 1 Non Price Tender Response Form - File 2 Tender Form - File 3 Schedule of Prices
