Palmerston North City Council (PNCC) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and certified suppliers to deliver all aspects of the 2025 Hazardous Waste Day event. This community-facing event allows residents to safely dispose of household hazardous substances.
This is a turnkey contract, and suppliers must hold (or work with subcontractors who hold) appropriate hazardous waste handling certifications, transport approvals, and insurance cover as outlined in the RFP documentation.
Suppliers must demonstrate experience in hazardous waste collection and disposal, environmental management, and event safety. PNCC encourages suppliers to propose practices that align with broader environmental outcomes such as emissions reduction, waste minimisation, and circular economy approaches.
