Patea Redundant Mains Decommissioning & Pipe Renewal

South Taranaki District Council (STDC) proposes to decommission existing pipes and features in the Patea area along Victoria St, Derby St, and Chester St, Dorset St, Stafford St, Cornwall St and Installation of new pipeline DN225 SDR13.6 PE100 PN12.5 approximately 11m on Egmont St and 161m of DN125 SDR13.6 PE100 PN12.5 pipe along Derby St. The contractor shall supply all pipe, fittings, air valves, valves, hydrants, service laterals and connections to existing properties etc. as detailed on the drawings and listed in the Schedule of Quantities.
The contract calls for the supply of all materials, plant, labour and supervision required to carry out the specified work and includes but not limited to the following:

Decommisioning old rising main and its fittings as indicated on the drawings

Supply and installation of DN 225/125 SDR13.6 PE 100 PN 12.5 pipe

Supply and installation of associated fittings and thrust blocks for the mentioned above new water main.

Supply and installation of new scour valves inclusive of all valves and fittings

Supply and installation of air valve chambers inclusive of all valves and fittings

Relocation of existing Service Connections (where required)

Road and Berm reinstatement

Removal and remarking of pavement markings

Testing and commissioning

As-built drawings indicating any changes to the construction drawings

All other work indicated, described or implied on any of the drawings, in the General or Special Conditions of Contract or in the Specification.
