New Zealand Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi)

Pavement Rehabilitation: Northland and Taranaki 2024/25 – 2025/26 - Expression of Interest

Several sections of the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) state highway network in the Northland and Taranaki regions require rehabilitation as part of the renewals programme.

The overarching objective of this pavement rehabilitation programme is to reconstruct failing pavement sections to support a safe and efficient roadway network for the community.

This Expression of Interest (EOI) is aimed at physical works contractors who have the appropriate skills, experience and track record to complete pavement rehabilitation in the Northland and/or Taranaki regions.

The purpose of this EOI is to:

1. confirm the level of interest from the market, and how the market could respond to the successful delivery of pavement rehabilitation in the Northland and Taranaki regions for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 construction seasons.
2. inform the development and finalisation of the tender documents for physical works.

Expressions of Interest shall be submitted to NZTA via the Government Electronic Tendering System (GETS) by 12:00 pm Wednesday 7th August 2024.

This is not a shortlisting process or the commencement of a formal procurement process.

The Request for Tender (RFT) will be separately advertised on GETS at a later date (estimated 19 August 2024).
