ACC is seeking additional Suppliers for Psychiatric Services
INFORMATION ABOUT THE SERVICE
ACC’s Psychiatric Services (CPSB) contract involves assessing and treating ACC Clients who have a Mental Injury caused by Physical Injury (MICPI), Work Related Mental Injury (WRMI), Mental Injury caused by Treatment Injury (TIMI) or Mental Injury caused by Sexual Abuse (MICSA).
The key Service Components include Assessment, Progress Review, Treatment and Active Liaison.
The purpose of the service is to provide ACC with a psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and formulation of a Client’s mental injury (as defined in Section 27 of the Accident Compensation Act 2001) which is being investigated for cover or has been accepted as having cover by ACC; and/or to provide Treatment to a Client following receipt of an approved treatment plan.
WHAT'S IMPORTANT TO US?
Suppliers will need to clearly demonstrate that they understand and can meet the requirements of the CPSB service schedule.
Under the contract, Suppliers are accountable for the delivery of all services and for the performance of their Named Service Providers.
Suppliers will need suitably qualified Named Service Providers. All Named Service Providers must hold professional qualifications which include both comprehensive training and relevant expertise in differential diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and appropriate certification.
