Public Facilities Parks and Places - Township Maintenance Contract

Mackenzie District Council is seeking an experienced, competent and collaborative partner to deliver township service across our stunning district.
Suppliers will be key to the experience of residents and visitors to the district in supporting the provision of community facing services including:
• Grass Mowing
• Gardening
• Vegetation Control
• Toilet Cleaning
• Playgrounds
• Lin Bin Emptying
• Litter Collection
• Cemeteries
Twizel is the largest urban area, with a range of services also provided in Fairlie and Lake Tekapo/ Takapō. Visitor numbers are very high at times meaning the supplier needs to be and responsive and adaptable.

The contract term will be five years with potential for further extension and for the right supplier to obtain project work. There is scope for transition from 1 September for essential services to commence with other operations to follow a little later.

The Request for Proposal will be notified on Thursday 8 May 2025 as an addenda NTT.
