The University of Canterbury is seeking suitably experienced contractors to participate in a Registration of Interest for early enabling and structural works at the Pūtaiao Koiora Research Building.
This opportunity forms part of a wider programme to refurbish the existing building. The works will prepare the site for subsequent refit activities and support the safe and efficient delivery of the overall project.
The ROI stage is intended to identify and shortlist contractors with the capability, capacity, and relevant experience to operate in a constrained, live campus environment and deliver works of a similar nature and complexity.
The works include selective strip-out, decant activities, structural strengthening, and associated services coordination, undertaken within a live campus environment. The contractor will need to work collaboratively with the University and project team and manage interfaces with ongoing operations and critical infrastructure.
