The purpose of this RFI is to provide the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) with information regarding the best approach to deliver 50 new-build homes as part of the Waiouru Housing Programme. The key information that the NZDF is seeking relates to understanding pragmatic, efficient and commercially viable options to design and construction housing accommodation, in an area previously occupied by NZDF housing located out the main Waiouru Military Camp (and on NZDF owned/designated land).
The NZDF is planning to partner with Ngati Rangi on this development and in early 2024, will be seeking parties that can offer a range of services, including civil works on the existing site, design and construction of 50 new homes, and associated on and off lot landscaping.
