RFP 2794 - Temuka Raw Water Trunk Network Upgrade – Design and Build

TDC is seeking a qualified and experienced Three Waters contractor who is ready to try their hand at something a bit different – not just construction, but design too.

Raw water for treatment at the Temuka Water Treatment Plant is sourced from six bores - three located on the treatment plant site and three located approximately 400-500 metres away near the intersection of Orari Station and Coach Roads. Of the off-site bores, only one is currently in service, and raw water is conveyed to the treatment plant via a single 150mm diameter pipeline. The two other off-site bores are new.

Additional raw water conveyance capacity is required to enable supply from the two new off-site bores and to meet increasing demand. There is also a requirement to introduce redundancy into this part of the system. To achieve this, TDC requires the construction of a second raw water pipeline.

We want to trial giving you the parameters, and you provide us with the full package – design through construction, testing and completion of the installed pipeline.
