RFP Information Contact Centre Services

The Electoral Commission (the Commission) is seeking a suitably experienced and capable supplier to provide New Zealanders with accurate and timely information about elections and voting.

Suppliers must be able to provide customer services representatives based in New Zealand, and provide 24 hours a day, 365 days a year services (these are pre-conditions of the RFP) to meet the Commission’s immediate needs including electoral event delivery and non-event time in 2025 and 2026, as well as capabilities and capacity to ensure the Commission is well positioned to evolve alongside our future objectives, as well as changing technology. It is important that suppliers can scale up to meet high-demand election periods.

Suppliers must be able to ensure political neutrality, positivity and professionalism, as well as provide a workforce with cultural understanding and context of New Zealand.

Channels we currently require as part of a robust and fully outsourced solution include phone, email, SMS/text. The right supplier will offer innovation and efficiencies throughout the life of the contract, and have the infrastructure to provide a secure and reliable service, as well as protecting private information and offering robust reporting.
