Watercare carries out water and wastewater network maintenance services in Auckland. These services are currently separated into three regions (Lots), the Northen, Central and Southern Lots. Watercare wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to deliver services to the Southern and Central Lots.
This includes ensuring that all assets under management – pipelines, pump stations, wastewater networks, and associated infrastructure – are maintained to a high operational standard. The scope covers reactive, unprogrammed, and programmed maintenance, as well as emergency response, inspection, and reporting services. The successful provider will play a critical role in ensuring Auckland’s communities continue to have reliable, safe, and sustainable access to water and wastewater services.
The services in the Central Lot are currently provided by Watercare’s Central Unit and therefore this Lot has some additional requirements attached to it.
