RFT - Main Building Contractor for AMS only Block E - Classroom Upgrade at Ōtaki School, Kāpiti Coast

The Ōtaki School Board wishes to upgrade the classrooms in Block E with work focussing on DQLS improvements.

The proposed scope includes the full refurbishment of classrooms 3 and 4 which incorporates the removal and replacement of all wall and ceiling linings, floor coverings and joinery. New whiteboard units, cabinetry and benchtops will also be provided.

The Board has expressed a desire to explore the possibility of providing internal connection between the teaching spaces with new sliding, glazed doors. They are also keen to provide a new outdoor teaching area to the frontage of the classrooms by providing a suspended timber deck with steps and handrails (this will only proceed if deemed affordable and the Board approves supporting the budget increase.
