RFT - Main Building Contractor for Block B - Flooding Remediation and Refurbish Classrooms at Tawa School, Wellington

The project will address flood damage remediation together with essential planned infrastructure improvements incorporating the replacement of end of life windows and cladding and modernisation of the teaching environments to Block B.

The outcome is to ensure watertight, safe and compliant facilities and to extend the life of these assets in line with MoE and specialist report recommendations.

Following water ingress events, a condition assessment identified significant failures of the timber windows and cladding. The school decided to also complete the refurbishment of Block B to ensure continuity of its teaching environments across the site.

The project is to be delivered ready for use in 2026.

The work will be delivered as a single stage.
