RFT - Main Contractor for Block 4: Multipurpose Life Skills Space Alterations at Tikipunga Primary School

The outcome sought from this procurement is the securing of the services of a suitably experienced & qualified Main Construction Contractor for the 4: SIP – Multi-purpose Life Skills Space Alterations (the Contract Works) for the Board of Trustees (BoT) (The Principal) at Tikipunga Primary School (the School). The Tikipunga Primary School Board of Trustees have decided to alter the existing former dental clinic building (block 4) into a Multi-purpose Life Skills Space. It has been used as a flexible space for a number of years, but is not currently fit for purpose.

The Contract Works required are:
i. Remove existing asbestos wall cladding, existing window and section of existing framing & wall linings, and replace with new door.
ii. Replace existing floor and wall coverings
iii. Replace existing cabinetry with new kitchen cabinetry & work space cabinetry
iv. Refurbishment of existing toilet
v. Replace existing lighting with LED fittings and upgrade existing switchboard
vi. Exterior works including garden area and adjacent covered space
vii. The block 4 building is a small single level building (originally the old school dental clinic – it measures circa 4.5m wide x 10.5m long.
