ROI Site Redevelopment - Construction at Herekino School

This project replaces the existing school buildings and affected infrastructure.
Replacement of Blocks 1, 5, 9.
The redevelopment project would leave the kura with an easily maintained, future proofed campus that’s been designed and built to the school entitlement.
The design delivers 2 teaching spaces, a library area, multipurpose space, resource and teacher planning, and administrative areas. Toilets have been designed as unisex for the junior and senior age groups.

The teaching blocks have good passive ventilation and take advantage of solar gain.
There are covered outdoor learning environments surrounding the indoor teaching spaces.
