ROI - Whanganui Port - Design and Construction – Q-West Boat Building Shed - Stage One

The Whanganui Port is seeking registrations of interest from suitably qualified and experienced contractors, and design partners to design and then construct the first large format boat-building shed at the Whanganui Port’s Marine Precinct for Q-West boat builders. The objective is to source a single Contractor to deliver the Q-West boatbuilding facility (basebuild) that meets the Whanganui Port’s requirements. The Whanganui Port is seeking contractors to demonstrate that they have an established relationship (or in house capability) to provide detailed designs that are capable of successful consenting and construction. From this ROI, the Whanganui Port will shortlist a number of suitably qualified and experienced contractors to participate in a closed RFT for the design and construction of the facility. We expect the Contract to commence in early 2024, as the procurement process allows. The anticipated Contract term will be agreed with the successful contractor.
