RUS - Remote Users Scheme

The Remote Users Scheme (RUS) is focused on increasing the availability of broadband connectivity in rural and remote New Zealand. We are seeking Proposals to consider for funding to provide coverage options (through building new or upgrading existing terrestrial infrastructure or providing financial support for a connection) to eligible households and communities in Aotearoa’s most remote areas where broadband [of 10Mbps or greater] is not available. The first phase of RUS, being this RFP, aims to provide a broadband internet service to an area by extending existing networks.
