Health NZ - Te Manawa Taki is seeking proposals from experienced Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) to deliver Reducing Demand for Methamphetamine Programme in Rotorua. The scope includes
• Pou whānau connector services
• Peer-led recovery groups
• Expansion of intensive, community-based treatment
• Workforce development
Successful Respondents will be expected to employ a culturally competent workforce, work collaboratively across sectors, deliver services aligned to agreed local pathways and contribute to monitoring, reporting and evaluation. Respondents must demonstrate a strong track record in mental health and addiction service delivery, including kaupapa Māori and/or lived-experience-led models, as well as the capability to deliver safe, effective and culturally grounded services that reduce methamphetamine-related harm.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a national “Reducing Demand for Methamphetamine Programme” for your service to make a meaningful impact by supporting people and whānau affected by methamphetamine-related harm. The service will play a key role in delivering evidence-informed, recovery-focused and culturally responsive support across prevention, early intervention, treatment and recovery pathways in Rotorua.
