Earth Sciences New Zealand is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of a real-time Remote Worker Tracking, Locator and Communications solution (the Solution).

Our scientists and technicians undertake fieldwork 24/7 in remote, challenging, and often hazardous environments, both on land and at sea, throughout New Zealand, the Pacific, and the sub-Antarctic.

Registrations of Interest are sought for a single, nationwide platform that enables the tracking, location, and communication with staff working in the field, supporting and enhancing our remote worker health and safety risk management protocols.

In parallel with this ROI, Earth Sciences New Zealand is undertaking a separate ROI for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Management System solution. While these are separate procurement processes, our preferred outcome is a solution that is capable of meeting the requirements of both ROIs.
