Request for Proposal - Digital Child Exploitation Filtering System (DCEFS)

The Digital Safety & Investigation group within the Department of Internal Affairs (the Department) keeps New Zealanders safe from online harms, around unsolicited contact and protecting New Zealanders from objectionable material and exploitation. These activities contribute to the Department’s strategic outcome “Iwi, hapū and communities across New Zealand are safe, resilient and thriving”.

We now invite participants to provide a response for a replacement of our existing Digital Child Exploitation Filtering System (DCEFS) platform which is reaching its end of life.

The intended solution will support the Department in preventing access to illegal and harmful online content, protecting vulnerable users, and maintaining public trust in New Zealand’s digital environment.
