Residential Space and Water Heating Technologies Study

EECA is seeking to select suitably qualified and experienced individuals/organisations to research and identify how the lifecycle carbon emissions vary for different residential space and water heating (SWH) technologies by use case in New Zealand, with a particular focus on resistance heating relative to other technologies for residential SWH applications from the perspective of lifecycle carbon emissions and cumulative energy demand (CED). This work is an opportunity to contribute to a vital component of New Zealand’s decarbonisation journey, assist in the development of useful advice to energy end-users, and support EECA’s mission to mobilise New Zealanders to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use.

EECA will be holding a supplier briefing via Microsoft Teams for this opportunity on 22 May 2024, in order to provide an overview of this work, what we are looking for and to provide an opportunity to seek clarity and ask questions.
To register for this briefing, please email applications@eeca.govt.nz to request a Microsoft Teams link.
