Stratford District Council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified contractors for a three-year Open Spaces Maintenance Contract, commencing 1 July 2026, with options to extend for up to a total of seven years. This Contract will require delivery of physical maintenance works within the parks, reserves, and cemeteries owned and maintained by the Stratford District Council. Some associated professional services, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of maintenance strategies may also be required to ensure long-term asset performance.
The scope of works includes identifying maintenance needs, undertaking inspections and reporting, providing all labour, plant, and materials, delivering works safely and efficiently with minimal public disruption, and responding promptly to emergencies. The successful contractor shall deliver value for money and high-quality outcomes while supporting continuous improvement to the community in Stratford District Councils open spaces.
Pricing is based on anticipated annual quantities. No cost adjustments shall apply in the first year, with adjustments permitted in years two and three. This Contract is structured as a lump sum for key tasks and measure-and-value for ready response works.
