Scott Base Redevelopment - Electrical Engineering Consultant - Ross Island Wind Energy, Antarctica

The redevelopment of Scott Base is Antarctica New Zealand’s largest and most complex project ever undertaken. The aim of the project is to ensure Aotearoa New Zealand has safe, fit-for-purpose, and sustainable infrastructure that safeguards its continuous presence in Antarctica, enables its world-leading scientific research programme, and strengthens engagement with the Antarctic Treaty System.

Antarctica New Zealand is seeking proposals from suitably qualified Electrical Engineering Consultants to provide Technical Support for the Ross Island Wind Energy (RIWE 2.0) programme. This role will serve as the primary electrical advisor to Antarctica New Zealand, ensuring that all electrical and control systems of the RIWE system are designed, reviewed, and commissioned in alignment with operational requirements, environmental constraints, and long-term maintainability.
