Second Ashburton Bridge Principal Technical Advisor - Registration of Interest

The 2AB PTA role is critical for supporting the project’s technical needs throughout the pre-implementation and implementation phases of the project (May 2025 – June 2028).

We are seeking a professional services consultant that will provide a value-for-money PTA solution by:

• Having a rigorous understanding of the PTA role and the benefits it will provide NZTA,
• Remaining flexible and agile to meet the evolving needs of the project,
• Collaborating and operating with NZTA with a ‘one team’ and solution-finding mindset,
• Having a strong knowledge of the project, including designation conditions, to meet the project milestones and outcomes,
• Having efficient and cost-effective internal (to the consultant) quality management processes that will benefit NZTA, and
• Operating to project budget utilising a competitive consultancy rate card.

Applicants are asked to provide the information requested in the ROI Response Form in a clear and concise a manner, and in the format specified. Where limits on the extent of individual responses are stated in the response form, the portion of any response in excess of the limit will be disregarded. For details of the Response Form, and page limits, refer to Appendix B of the attached ROI document.

Supporting information providing background to all tenderers on work to date is available as reference for tenderers.
To receive this information, a Non-Disclosure Agreement is required to be signed and returned.
