Specialist IDI Code Modules Support

Stats NZ is seeking an experienced provider to support the Code Modules Initiative during the modernisation of the Integrated Data Infrastructure (IDI). Established in 2022 and supported by government agencies and non-government users, the initiative is an all-of-data-system effort to make New Zealand’s integrated data assets easier to use and understand by developing reusable code and supporting documentation for commonly required measures, such as benefit receipt, migration status, qualifications, employment status and total income.

The provider will develop and maintain modules, provide training and mentoring, and offer flexible specialist capacity to expand a trusted module library and strengthen internal capability; practical IDI experience is essential, while Longitudinal Business Database experience is desirable.
