Speech to Text Technology

The Ministry is conducting this RFI to form a better understanding of the current market for Speech to Text (StT) technology and how it could benefit the Ministry.

Through this process, the Ministry intends to:
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the market conditions.
• Understand the technical capabilities of available StT solutions, ensuring they can be effectively integrated into our existing infrastructure.
• Develop an understanding of the scalability of the solutions, ensuring they can support a wide range of use-cases within the court’s environment.

The intelligence gathered will allow us to:
• Explore innovative solutions that could enhance the efficiency and accuracy of court transcriptions.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and improved resource allocation by reducing the dependency on manual transcription services.
• Understand the potential for customisation and further development of StT technology to better meet our specific needs.
