Streetlight Physical Works

We are seeking to appoint a motivated contractor to deliver these services to the highest affordable quality, with a focus on quality data to inform optimal asset management, whilst having the necessary care and consideration for the community they are delivering to. The high-level outcome of the Streetlight Maintenance and Renewals contract is to deliver the services required to achieve the Council’s Strategic Priorities:

- Consistent delivery of core services
- Improving responsiveness
- Improving connectivity
- Building community resilience
- Supporting sustainable growth
- Building relationships

Specifically, the streetlight maintenance and renewal services are expected to contribute to achievement of Council’s Community Outcomes with a specific focus on the Social Outcome, “Our communities are connected, safe, accessible and resilient. We put community wellbeing at the heart of our decisions and we embrace partnerships to get things done to improve people’s lives.”
For Streetlights, this means that they are maintained to the level of service specified by council to ensure communities can expect the lights to be operational and maintained for their safety and accessibility. We are looking for an experienced supplier with a proven track record and well resourced team to provide the stewardship needed to achieve these outcomes.
