Dunedin City Council

Streetlight maintenance

In 2019 Dunedin City Council (DCC) undertook a roll out of LED (Light-Emitting Diode) lighting across our local and state highway roads in Dunedin and wider City boundary. We now seek to engage a suitably experienced contractor to provide ongoing maintenance and renewal of the LED network effective from 1 July 2026.

We require a contractor that can demonstrate the relevant experience and track record with a strong a customer focus. Reliability and the ability to deliver is important to us; we want to partner with a contractor who can respond urgently to requests no matter the time of day or night. Capacity is important. The successful contractor must have the vehicle fleet and trained personnel to ensure our LED network is maintained safely, within regulatory requirements, and in line with industry best practise and standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for a locally resourced contractor to work with the DCC. We seek to partner for the long term with a contract of up to 5 years, subject to performance.
