Strengthening of Tahuna Road Bridges

Waikato District Council is seeking an experienced contractor to strengthen two bridges on Tahuna Road. The works include structural strengthening, concrete repairs, temporary works, traffic management, and all activities required to improve the long-term performance and resilience of the bridges on an important transport link.

Council's objectives are to:
 Deliver the strengthening works safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption.
 Improve bridge capacity to support current and future transport demands.
 Extend the service life of the two structures.
 Achieve value for money through the appointment of a suitably experienced contractor.
