Summerhays Social Housing Opportunity

Palmerston North City Council (PNCC) is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced organisations interested in contributing to a pivotal housing initiative for the city.

This EOI is aimed at transforming the former 8,276 m2 Terrace End Bowling Club site into a vibrant social housing community. We are calling on partners who can offer innovative, sustainable, and community-focused design solutions that resonate with our vision for Palmerston North as a city of growth, opportunity, and inclusion. We look forward to proposals that not only address the current demand for diverse housing but also set a benchmark for future developments in the city.

We welcome EOI’s that focus on specific areas of expertise, including design and construction, financing and ownership, and operation and maintenance. In addition, we encourage organisations to form strategic alliances, presenting joint proposals that demonstrate a clear and cohesive plan for executing the entire project. Our aim is to ensure that, through a pragmatic design approach and effective partnerships, we deliver a fully integrated development that meets the community's needs at every stage.
