Sunshine Bay Erosion Control

Queenstown Lakes District Council is in the process of finalising construction drawings for Sunshine Bay which will be used by suppliers to install:

• Rock revetment
• Drainage and stormwater solutions
• General site improvements.

QLDC is working to a tight timeline for this project to ensure practical completion prior to mid-September with the intent to avoid high lake levels and further erosion. It is anticipated that the RPQ for this work will go out to GETS by the end of May.
