Supply of Uniforms

This notification is to inform interested suppliers that Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) intends to release formal tender documents in 2023 in a tender for the supply of clothing, personal protection equipment, and associated logistics services.

It is intended that the tender will incorporate the following deliverables:
 Sourcing or manufacturing, warehousing and distribution of clothing, personal protection equipment and associated logistics services.
 Provision of an online catalogue for all products in order to receive online orders.
 Management of the ordering process for products.
 Account management and customer service.
 A 24-hour emergency contact point for urgent matters.
 Reporting and invoicing.
 Research and product development services
 Quality Assurance and credit/return process.
 Clothing specification and master sample management.
 Fabric management.

The contract is expected to be with a Prime Vendor with the contract value anticipated to be approximately $12M per annum.

FENZ may release a Request for Information to the market in the first quarter of 2023 in order the inform the development of tender documents. FENZ will also be seeking to identify market interest in tendering for this contract opportunity.

It is anticipated that FENZ will run an open and competitive two-stage process incorporating an initial Registration of Interest, followed by the issue of a Request for Proposal to shortlisted suppliers. FENZ expects to issue the Registration of Interest in July 2023.
