TDC/2021/341 INSTALLATION OF NEW WATER MAINS IN TAUHARA RIDGE AND 5 MILE BAY

This Contract is for the installation of potable water pipelines and supporting infrastructure in Taupo, New Zealand. The Contract is split into 2 Separable Portions as
follows:
- Separable Portion 1: Tauhara Ridge Water Main is located along the East Taupo Arterial -SH1 (ETA). It includes installation and commissioning of DN315, DN200 and DN180 PE pipelines. The proposed new water mains connect into the existing water reticulation in Tauhara Ridge Drive and runs along the ETA for about 2.35 km to connect into a new housing development.
- Separable Portion 2: 5 Mile Bay Water Reticulation is located in the small settlement of 5 Mile Bay, just South of Taupo. It includes installation and commissioning of DN125, and DN62 PE pipelines and property connections. The proposed new water mains connect into the existing water reticulation on SH1. Taupo District Council would also like to signal to the market, the upcoming Acacia Bay Water Project. This
project will include a water pump station upgrade and construction of approximately 5km of DN355 PE pipelines among other works. This project is expected to be tendered within the next 2 months.
