Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Nga Uri A Maui (the School) – H, I: ILE improvements, C: Plumbing and Drainage, and C, E, H, I, J: Electrical RCOB Upgrade – Main Contractor

a. The Contract Works required are:
i. Block H
(a) Replacement of the glass bi-fold doors with a more functional door that is easier to open and close on a daily basis.
(b) Development of an outdoor learning area adjacent to the classrooms with better connection from inside to outside
ii. Block I.
(a) Replacement of the electrical window openers with manual openers.
iii. Site:
(a) Install cages to heat pump condenser units wherever these are accessible to pupils.
(b) Install new stormwater drainage from Blocks H and C.
(c) Install RCBOs to 6 no. DBs and carry out minor electrical repairs.
iv. The scale of the works is medium
v. Pricing should split into six separable portions as per items i (a) – iii (c) above with P&G and margin pro rataed. The school cannot make all areas available at one time.
vi. Phasing and/or staged handover of the project will be negotiated with the school.
vii. The site is flat and level with easy vehicle access.
viii. The Contractor will be engaged through a Medium Works Contract. No Contract related tags will be considered. The Principal prefers there to be no drawings and specification related Tags.
