Te Poutama Water Treatment Plant

Water at Te Poutama is supplied by an onsite bore. The water is currently untreated and the facility uses bottled water for drinking purposes. The key objective is to install a robust yet simple and reliable water treatment system that will bring the water supply to a continuous safe drinking standard. The system and the water will comply with both the Water Safety Act 2021 (WSA) and Drinking Water Quality Assurance Rules (DWQAR).

We seek proposals for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of a water treatment system at Te Poutama Youth Justice Residence in Christchurch. Stantec developed the basis of design and performance requirements for us. Respondents must complete and return the non-disclosure agreement, attached separately, to get access to the Stantec plans and get the site address. A site visit is included for pricing purposes.
