Technology Improvement Initiatives

Over the coming months, Rau Paenga Limited (Rau Paenga) will be releasing a number of procurement opportunities relating to technology improvements within the organisation.

It is envisaged that the following contract opportunities will be advertised on the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS) over the next four months:

• Provision of construction management software – Rau Paenga (previously Ōtākaro Limited) has, in the past, utilised the software of its consultants and construction contractors but has now identified a need for an organisational wide solution that will be utilised on new projects.
• Provision of project budget and cost management software – the current solution that Rau Paenga utilises is reaching end-of-life and will no longer be supported.
• Consultancy services relating to the Rau Paenga SharePoint and business workflow upgrade.

At this stage, Rau Paenga envisages these being three (3) individual contract opportunities following open market procurement processes (some single-stage, some multi-stage). Please note that this may be subject to change as further market research, requirements scoping, and procurement planning is undertaken.
